Next year, it is designed to spend 24 billion 572 million AMD for 11 programmes and 51 measures. Compared with the programmes approved in 2023, the expenses being implemented by the Staff are 4.7 billion AMD more in 2024. The main additions are connected with the implementation of the State Modernization Programme.
On November 1, at the joint sitting of the Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the Deputy Chief of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff Armenak Khachatryan said this presenting the budgetary bid of the RA Minister’s Staff.
The Deputy Chief of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff also answered the deputies’ questions.
The question of the deputy of the Armenia Faction Artur Khachatryan referred to the efficiency of the works. According to him, the cases are many, when the MP sends inquiries state institutions and receives the answer after several months. Artur Khachatryan inquired about the steps taken for reducing such delays. In response, Armenak Khachatryan noted that the RA Prime Minister’s Staff maintains 99 percent the terms of the answers to the deputies’ inquiries.
The Chair of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gevorg Papoyan noted that in the International Courts, in the arbitrations and in other instances introduction and protection of the interests of the Republic of Armenia, there is transition from 1.8 billion to 3.8 billion in the section of making judgments and decisions adopted by them. He inquired what consequence is that? And for what years the wrong judgments the citizens of the Republic of Armenia will pay about 4 billion AMD or about 10 million USD.
“The mentioned programmes is comprised of two measures, and its majority refers to the introduction and protection of the interests of the Republic of Armenia. We have increase on this measure, i.e. 1.8 billion refers to the protection of the interests of the Republic of Armenia. It implies acquisition of certain advisory services. Regarding the implementation of the relevant compensations of the judgments, then the increase is 210 million AMD towards the budget approved in 2023 on this part,” Armenak Khachatryan clarified.
The Deputy Representative on International Legal Matters added that the increase the majority of the budget refer to providing representation within the framework of the inter-state complaints. He mentioned, particularly, the claims Armenia against Azerbaijan.
