On February 8, the parliament in the first reading debated the draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Urban Development, presented by the Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Davit Grigoryan. The necessity of the legislative amendments is conditioned by the demand of applying multi-use designs for constructing new subsidiary buildings of the great number of residential and public importance institutions in the coming years stemming from the programme of the RA Government for 2021-2026. The pre-school, school, health care and agricultural institutions are in the series of those buildings.
As Davit Grigoryan has assessed, applying multi-use designs is expedient, as by this the terms and of the design for the buildings and the expenditures to be made will be reduced.
Hayk Tsirunyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs. The deputy highlighted the adoption of the draft law.
