On December 26, Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan, President of the National Assembly visited Nork Marash Retirement Home, became familiarized with the conditions of the 230 old people, living there and congratulated them on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas, wished them good health and welfare: “Today I visited you as a guest as well as the President of the National Assembly. All your problems are in the center of attention of our state. I am very glad that you are fine and let the smile never disappear from your faces. The 2008 was a year of achievements and tests for our country. Our people need only tolerance, solidarity and to be united. I believe in 2009 we would have all these. Our state is becoming more welfare year by year and we try to improve life for our people. I want to congratulate you all for the occasion of New Year and Christmas. It is not by chance I am with you today. Your lifestyle and mood is very important for me.”
The President of the National Assembly presented 3 million drams to Nork Marash Retirement Home, which will be used by the council of the institute for its needs. The President of the National Assembly added that his visits would be continuous. The inhabitants of the Nork Marash Retirement Home accepted the present of the President of the National Assembly with great enthusiasm. They expressed their gratitude by singing and dancing.
Mr. Arsen Harutyunyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs also congratulated and addressed his best wishes to the inhabitants of the Nork Marash Retirement Home and assured them that all their problems are in the center of attention. As an assessment for good work, the Minister awarded Mr. Aramayis Aloyan, Director of the Retirement Home with a medal of 90th anniversary of the Ministry. And the director of the institute of the Retirement Home handed over souvenirs to the President of the National Assembly and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs.
