The Chair of the NA Counting Commission Narek Babayan summarized the results of the elections.

According to the results of the secret ballot, all candidates nominated for the posts of the Chairs of the Standing Committees were elected.

So, Heriknaz Tigranyan was elected the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs with 71 votes in favor.

Narek Zeynalyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care with 72 votes in favor.

Eduard Aghajanyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations with 72 votes in favor.

Sisak Gabrielyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport with 71 votes in favor.

Arman Yeghoyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration with 71 votes in favor.

Taguhi Tovmasyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs with 60 votes in favor.

Andranik Kocharyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security with 70 votes in favor.

Vladimir Vardanyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs with 71 votes in favor.

Armen Gevorgyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration with 62 votes in favor.

Vahe Ghalumyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Protection with 74 votes in favor.

Vahe Hakobyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs with 59 votes in favor.

Gevorg Papoyan was elected the Chair of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs with 70 votes in favor.

The NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan noted that the NA Council was formed. The NA President, his Vice Presidents, the Chairs of the Standing Committees and one representative from each faction are in the composition of the Council. The Civil Contract Faction presented Hayk Konjoryan, the Armenia Faction – Seyran Ohanyan, With Honor Faction – the Secretary Hayk Mamijanyan.

Ruben Rubinyan has also informed that it will be additionally announced about the discussions of the item on approving the Government programme.

The National Assembly ended the works of the daily sittings of the first session of the eighth convocation.
