On October 25 the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs and the member of the Committee Tevan Poghosyan left for Vayots Dzor and Syunik Marz, had been in the subunits and military units of the RA Police and the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations on working visit.

The NA deputies made their first visit to Yeghnadzor Division of Vayots Dzor Marz Department of the RA Police. They had been in different services accompanied by the Governor of Vayots Dzor Edgar Ghazaryan and the Head of the Division, got acquainted with working conditions, professional and feasibility possibilities, the ways of the organization of the work with the civil society and steps aimed at the increase of mutual trust.

Koryun Nahapetyan and Tevan Poghosyan also visited Territorial Structure of Vayots Dzor of the State Fire and Technical Security Inspectorate and the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, got acquainted with the possible natural disasters, technical and specialised capabilities of preventing them, the employees’ needs, discussed the possibilities of the improvement of the everyday conditions of the employees.

On the same day the NA deputies Syunik Marz, met with the employees of Kapan Division of the Marz Police, got familiarized with the character, reasons of the frequently happening crimes, the possibilities of their prevention and the implementing concrete steps, the ways of the awareness of the population and organization of the work with them. They also discussed problems directed at the improvement of the social and everyday conditions.

The next sphere of the activity of the Committee was the Territorial Subdivision of Syunik – the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Fire and Technical Security Inspectorate, which was distinguished with technical equipment and operative organization of the work at high level.

Late in the evening the NA deputies visited one of the military units deployed in the Marz, where they had meetings and discussions with the officers and soldiers, got familiarized with the peculiarities of their service, the degree of military readiness and everyday conditions.
