On February 9, the National Assembly debated the draft law on Approving the Annual Report for 2020 of the Implementation Program of the State Property Privatization for 2017-2020.

The Chairman of the State Property Management Committee Arnak Avetisyan has noted that it is proposed by the draft to approve the Annual Report for 2020 of the Implementation Program of the State Property Privatization for 2017-2020.

The rapporteur has underlined that the Report includes the information on the budgetary entries received from the privatization and liquidation deals carried out during the 2020 calendar year, as well as the privatization results, according to the investments made in the separate companies and the profile preservations requirements. According to him, during the reporting period, the shares of the state property of one company in the form of direct sale and two companies in classical auction have been privatized.

During the financial period, the means received from the privatization were 307mln 337.000 AMD.

The Chairman of the State Property Management Committee underlined that during the financial period the privatization of one trade organization out of three found in the liquidation process ended, as result of which about 59mln 786.000 AMD credit debt was covered.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Narek Ghahramanyan presented the positive position of the Committee on the bill.
