On October 20 the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan took part in the celebration dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the village of Rind in Vayots Dzor Marz.
Opening the event and welcoming the visit of the parliamentary delegation the Head of the village of Rind Husik Sahakyan said that the Community Elders at their convened meeting made a unanimous decision to grant a title of honourable citizen of Rind to the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan.
Congratulating the residents of the community the NA President on the occasion of the jubilee of Rind noted that it was a surprise and great honour to be granted such a title. In Hovik Abrahamyan’s word, it is also obliging, and from now on he would support in any way the solution of any problem facing the community.
The Head of the Parliament expressed his joy to the residents of the village for their unity. “Where there are unity, solidarity, there is a big result. We have affairs to do, but I am sure that we’ll go forward led by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and we’ll solve the problems, which exist in all 914 rural and city communities of Armenia. Having powerful community we’ll have powerful Armenia,” the NA President noted.
Once again congratulating the residents of the community Hovik Abrahamyan wished them success and welfare. He presented computers to two pupils of the village school, who had won in the Republican School Subject Olympiad.
Those who delivered speeches, thanked the NA President for his warm words and good wishes and ensured them that they would do their best with joint efforts to solve any problems aimed at the development and welfare of the community.
Then the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan took part in the festivity of the autumn crop.
