On December 10 in RA National Assembly the last briefings of the NA autumn session were held.
Besides the debated bills in the four-day sittings, the representatives of the factions touched upon the resignation of the Mayor of Yerevan and the retirement of RA Justice Minister.
The Head of the NA Heritage faction Styopa Safaryan talked about the bills debated in the four-day sittings, considered important the bill On Recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, which was submitted by their faction and not adopted as a result of voting, as well as the draft law On 2011 State Budget.
The faction voted against the draft law On 2011 State Budget, they did not consider it as a budget of development, and only 1 proposal from 86 of the faction was passed.
In connection with the resignation of the Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan and the retirement of the Justice Minister Styopa Safaryan considered as a result of inner-political and pre-electoral situation.
The Head of the Country of Law faction Heghine Bisharyan highlighted the adoption of the draft law On 2011 State Budget, saying that important articles for the Country of Law, as the issue of returning the deposits, the problem of financing the disaster areawere included, and others.
Heghine Bisharyan considered the resignation of the Mayor of Yerevan Gagik Beglaryan and the retirement of the Justice Minister normal processes, noting that what happened received its deserved assessment.
She also noted that she did not see any political context in the mentioned events.
The member of the ARF Faction distinguished the draft law On 2011 State Budget among the bills debated in the last four-day sittings and the social-political policy envisaged by it.
The faction submitted proposals which would provide the sustainable development of Armenia.
Talking about the last inner-political events Artsvik Minasyan noted that in two resignations he did not see any political context.
Artyush Shahbazyan opines that the situation when the problems are clarified by the rules of jungle is intolerable.
Assessing the work of the NA sittings the member of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction Naira Zohrabyan noted that in the autumn session of the National Assembly of the fourth convocation the Prosperous Armenia Party had been co-author of 36 bills, from which 8 had been passed completely, 19 were included in the agenda of the eighth session, 9 bills are in the official circulation, which were new bills.
Touching upon the two resignations Naira Zohrabyan noticed that in connection with those events the RA President had clearly said everything, The resignation of the Mayor is a fact and one thing is clear: there must not be people classifying themselves beyond law, as the law is for everybody, and everybody is equal before law.
The Head of the RPA faction Galust Sahakyan touched upon the retirement of the Justice Minister and said that he was dismissed from his position because of not fulfilling the working obligations and assignments.
Speaking about the Mayor Gagik Beglaryan’s resignation Galust Sahakyan said that Gagik Beglaryan’s problem had not been discussed in the RPA, and in case of discussion severe approach would not be applied. The head of the faction highly assessed Gagik Beglaryan’s work as Mayor.
He noted that up to now it was unknown who would be the next Mayor of the capital.
