On February 24, the regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs was held.
The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code authored by the Government was debated in the first reading.
The goal of the initiative is to regulate and specify the issues caused during the use of the RA Tax Code. To review the separate provisions, make amendments and addenda in the content and edit, set new regulations.
According to the Deputy Chair of the RA Revenue Committee Artur Manukyan, the draft law proposes clearer and more effective mechanism of penalties to set for the violation of cash register machines’ using rules. It is designed to recognize invalid a number of provisions. The Expertise and Analytical Department of the National Assembly Staff presented proposals, and part of them was accepted.
The revised version of the initiative was approved by the Committee.
The bills on Making Addenda to the law on Amending the RA Tax Code and on Making Addenda to the law on Procurement authored by the Government was debated in the second reading and endorsed.
The debate of the draft law on Ratifying the European Agreement on Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) authored by the Government was postponed up to two months.
