On December 10 within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme the students and lecturers of Yerevan Northern University visited the parliament. The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan conducted the open lesson.
Before the meeting the guests first took a tour in the building of the National Assembly, attended the Session Hall and observed the deputies’ work.
Welcoming the guests, the Committee Chairman proposed to slightly deviate from the accepted order and this time not to present the work order and the spheres of the activities, waiting for the final results of the referendum held on December 6. Mr Davtyan urged them to have the meeting at Q & A Session.
The students addressed their questions to the deputy, which related to the participation of the educational institutions in the events dedicated to the Genocide Centennial, the involvement of the Armenian women and girls in the RA Armed Forces, the education fees, military unit-educational institution cooperation, the Armenian-Turkish and Russian-Turkish relations, etc.
At the end of the visit the guests were taken photo with the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan in the NA Session Hall.
