The condolence message by the President of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan reads:

“I learnt with deep pain of the Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, RA NAS Academician Georg Brutyan’s death.

Georg Brutyan was the greatest figure of the modern Armenian philosophical thought, a talented scientist who creates and carries on tradition, and has really enriched and developed the world and national philosophy with his fruitful activities through decades and unique way of thinking.

What was in Georg Brutyan’s soul and mind, found its reflection in his restless philosophical searches, which through wise observations and substantial arguments, in the form of works and lectures were becoming scientific and methodological principles, forming internationally recognized Brutyan Philosophical School.

His death is not only a big loss for our people, but also for the world philosophical community.

I sincerely express my condolence to Georg Brutyan’s family, close relatives and colleagues and share their grief.”
