On December 8 within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan hosted the pupils and teachers of the General Schools in Gegharkunik and Tavush marzes involved in the project “The Youth Engaged in Society” of Jinishian Memorial Foundation.

Before the meeting the pupils took a tour in the parliament and attended the debate of the draft state budget of the coming year going on in the NA Session Hall.

Welcoming those present, the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan presented the activities of the legislative body of the republic, the inner-political situation of the country and the expectations from the Constitutional Amendments.

According to tradition, the schoolchildren had the opportunity to address questions to Hermine Naghdalyan which related to the referendum held on the Constitutional Amendments, the problems existing in the sphere of education and the way of conducting the Republican Olympiads.

During the warm and sincere talk Mrs Naghdalyan highlighted the participation of the youth in the public and political life of the state.

At the end of the visit the pupils have been taken photo with the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan in the Session Hall of the National Assembly.
