On November 8 the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan met with the Deputy Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan William Hanlon. Mr Hanlon highlighted the cooperation between the OSCE Office and the RA NA. He introduced the new initiatives of the OSCE Office. William Hanlon noted that preliminary evaluation of the RA legislative process had been made, and the observations would be submitted during the presentation on November 18.
Highlighting the cooperation between the OSCE Office and the RA NA, the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan documented that the upgrading of the legislative process would be continuous. William Hanlon noted that in future a meeting of the Armenian and Georgian parliamentarians was expected, which was organizing the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
Mrs Naghdlayan also proposed to organize deputies’ meetings and discussions with other formats, particularly, the Armenian and Georgian parliamentary women, as well as meetings of women involved in the parties. In the Vice President’s opinion, such meetings would promote the peaceful settlement of the regional problems. Other directions of further cooperation of the RA NA and OSCE Office in Yerevan were also discussed.
