On December 5 the National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings and by voting passed the bills debated on the previous day. The parliament refused the draft decision on the interpellation of the ANC faction.

By the proposal of the NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan the deputies welcomed the pedagogues and pupils of Abovyan N 7 Basic School, who visited the parliament within the framework of the “NA Open Doors” programme and were following the NA sitting.

Then the parliament in the second reading debated the legislative package envisaging amendments to the law “On the Payment of the Persons Occupying State Posts” and to a number of laws enclosed to it.

The deputies in the first reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on the Citizens who Has Not Passed Compulsory Military Service by the Violation of the Established Order.”

The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan noted that the issue had been thoroughly debated and endorsed in the Committee.

The deputies in the first reading procedure debated the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on the RA Citizen’s Passport,” “On Amending the RA Law on Identification Cards,” “On Amending the RA Law on Public Services Plate” and “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty.”

The Deputy Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Hovhannes Margaryan endorsed the legislative package.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Nerses Yeritsyan in the first reading presented the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Accumulative Pensions.”

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan voiced the endorsement of the committee on the bill.

The deputies in the first reading debated the package of the draft law “On Social Guarantees of the Persons Occupying State Posts” and the enclosed draft laws, which presented the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan.

The deputies in the second reading also debated the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on the Veterans of the Great Patriotic War” and “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.”

The National Assembly in the first reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Labour Code” authored by Hovik Abrahamyan, Galust Sahakyan, Arpine Hovhannisyan, Davit Harutyunyan and Karine Poghosyan. The debate was interrupted, the work of the four-day sittings ended.

The NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, who was presiding over the sitting, announced the fourth session of the National Assembly of the fifth convocation closed: the anthem of the Republic of Armenia sounded.
