According to the RA law on The Order of Discussing Citizens’ Proposals, Applications and Appeals, the Legislative Analysis and Development Department of the National Assembly publishes the brief information about the results of the discussion of the letters received by the National Assembly during the third quarter of 2006.
426 citizens’ applications were handed to the President of the National Assembly (387), to the NA Vice-President (28) and to the staff (11).
426 letters were handed to the NA Standing Committees.
142 letters were handed to the NA factions and deputy groups.
All the letters were answered in written form or orally. Issues of legislative, legal, health care, and social, educational, financial, housing and living conditions are raised in these letters.
