At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan presented a number of indicators on the economic sphere designed by the state budget for 2023. According to the Deputy Minister, 212 billion 528 million AMD was designed to allocate to the sphere of economy.
Vahe Hovhannisyan documented that there are problems connected with the capital expenditures, that is why he called on the partner ministries to be realistic.
For 2023, the expenditures of the social sphere related to the rise of the pensions and family benefits increased. According to the Deputy Minister, in 2023 the defense costs will be 5.5% of the GDP: everything will be done for the increase of the expenditure growth of the health care and education. “These spheres were considered prior by the Government programme,” the Deputy Minister of Finance said and added that the budgetary allocations of the economic sphere will also be increased.
