Galust Sahakyan Visits Frontier Military Bases
1 / 7

On December 29, the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan visited the frontier military bases and defensive positions in the northeastern direction of Tavush Marz.

The main goal of the NA President’s visit was to get acquainted with the servicemen’s everyday life, the training of the combat readiness of the military bases and security of the positions on the spot.

The Head of the legislative body expressed his gratitude to the servicemen, who, confronting the adversary, ensure the peace of our country. Galust Sahakyan noted: “Those paving the path of peace are the border-guards. Through many years I visit the military bases to be proud of our soldiers. Pray God the next generation serves in the conditions of complete peace.”

During the warm and sincere talk with the President of the National Assembly the servicemen have noted that the Armenian soldiers are alert and are ready to give deserved counter-attack to the enemy at any moment of the day and sil ence its bursts of machine-gun fire with adequate actions.

On the eve of New Year the RA NA President congratulated all the soldiers of the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of New Year and Holy Nativity, wishing them steadfastness, spirit of bravery and peaceful service.
