NA Standing Committees Convene Sittings

On December 4 the next sittings of the NA Standing Committees were held.

At the next sitting the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Criminal-Executive Service”

The key speaker, the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan presented the draft law, and it will be included with the endorsement in the draft agendas of the NA autumn session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The debate of the draft law “On Amending the RA Electoral Code” submitted by the deputy Edmon Marukyan, as well as of the bills “On Amending the RA Electoral Code” and “On the RA Anthem” presented by Tigran Urikhanyan was postponed by the authors’ proposal up to one year.

On the same day the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan in the first reading debated the package of the draft law “On Amending the General Security of the Non Food Product” and the enclosed laws, which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan.

The package was endorsed: it will be included in the draft agenda of the eighth session of the NA fifth convocation.

Armen Yeghiazaryan, Director of the National Centre for Legislative Regulation of the RA Government Staff, in the first reading submitted for debate the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Cash Collection.”

The Deputy Minister of RA Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan submitted the package of draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes” and “On Amending the RA Law on Accumulating Pensions.”

The draft law and the package were endorsed and will be included in the draft agendas of the eighth session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.
