NA Standing Committees Convene Regular Sittings

On March 11, the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Vardan Ayvazyan in the first reading debated the package of the draft laws On Amending the RA Law on Export and Import of the Cultural Values and on Amending the RA Law on State Duty, which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan.

The Committee Chairman Vardan Ayvazyan introduced the package of the draft laws On Amendment to the RA Law on Value Added Tax and On Amendments to the RA Law on Value Added Tax.

By the decision of the Committee the consideration of the package in the second reading is envisaged to organize in the first reading after passing it within 24 hours.

The packages of the draft laws were endorsed and will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA spring session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The consideration of the draft law On Amendments to the RA Law On the Activity of the Real Estate Assessment was postponed up to one year.

On March 11 the regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment moderated by Martun Grigoryan was held, where two bills authored by the RA Government were debated and endorsed.

Armen Yeghiazaryan, Director of the State Agency of the National Centre for Legislative Regulation Project Implementation Unit of the RA Government Staff submitted for the deputies’ debate in the first reading the bill On Amending the RA Land Code.

The draft law was endorsed by the Committee; it will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the ninth session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

Armen Yeghiazaryan presented the draft law On Amending the RA Law on Organic Agriculture.

The draft laws were endorsed and will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the ninth session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The Committee also approved the schedule of the RA citizens’ reception by the members of the Committee for February-June of 2016.

The NA Standing Committee onterritorial Administration and Local Self-Government moderated by Stepan margaryan debated the package of the law On Constructing of Yerevan Small Centre and the enclosed laws, which presented the RA Minister of Urban Development Narek Sargsyan.

The package of the draft laws was endorsed and will be included only in the draft law of the ninth session of the NA fifth convocation.
