On February 27 by the anthem of the Republic of Armenia the work of the plenary sitting of the Youth Parliament (YP) functioning adjunct to the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was declared. Before approving the agenda the sworn-in ceremony of the YP new members took place.

The YP member, the Head of the PAP Faction in the name of the faction Makar Yeghiazaryan has announced that taking into consideration the situation created in the inner-political field in Armenia, the faction boycotts the work of the YP plenary sitting.

Then the parliamentarians debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Advocacy’ authored by Karen Amiryan, Artashes Khlghatyan and Lusine Sahakyan.

The key speaker Artashes Khlghatyan presented the goal of the draft law and answered the MPs’ questions. The debate of the draft law will continue at the YP next plenary sitting.

At the sitting the YP members made announcements.

The Youth Parliament ended the work.
