On February 4 in the RA National Assembly the press conference of the Secretary of the Rule of Law Faction Mher Shahgeldyan and the member of the Faction Levon Dokholyan dedicated to the citizen-bank relationship and the legislative initiative on restructuring of credit in foreign currency was held.

According to Mher Shahgeldyan, the faction has put into circulation a draft law which refers to the citizens’ credit restructuring into drams taken in foreign currency.

Mr Shahgeldyan also talked about transfers, which to him, have decreased.

The authors of the initiative have studied the experience of different countries, they are ready to discuss the issue with the specialists, politicians and representatives of the NGOs.

The MP Levon Dokholyan in his turn has noted that the devaluation of dram towards dollar and euro has created a complicated situation for the citizens having credits in foreign currency.

According to him, the Rule of Law Faction puts into circulation a draft law, by which the citizens who have taken credits in foreign currency can restructure them into drams.
