On June 4 at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing” authored by the NA deputy Edmon Marukyan.
The Committee also debated the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on the Safe Use of the Nuclear Power on Peaceful Purposes,” “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding Check Ups in the RA” and the bill “On Amending the RA Law On Gambling and Casinos.”
The Committee endorsed the bills to be included in the agendas of the session and the upcoming four-day sittings.
The Committee by the authors’ proposal postponed up to one year the debates of the package of bills “On General Safety of Non-Food Product,” “On Control of the Market,” “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding Check Ups in the RA,” “On Amending the RA Law on the Evaluation of the Compliance,” “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” “On Amending the RA Law on Providing Unity of Measures” and the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Organization and Holding Check Ups in the RA.”
On the same day the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan debated in the third reading the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on television and Radio” and “On Amending the RA Law on Advertisement.” The RA Deputy Minister Grigor Muradyan noted that the NA deputies Ruzanna Muradyan and Hayk Babukhanyan made proposals, and some amendments had been made by the author’s recommendation.
In her co-report Karine Poghosyan urged her colleagues to vote for the bill “On Advertisement.”
The legislative package with the Committee’s endorsement was included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.
The Committee made a decision to organize parliamentary hearings jointly with the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations on the theme “On Boosting the Process of the International Recognition and Condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and the Works to be Done Ahead of the 100th Centenary of the Armenian Genocide and the Possibilities of the Parliamentary Participation” in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, on June 13, at 10 a.m..
