On June 7 the NA PAP faction member Naira Zohrabyan received Gareth Wynn Owen, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
At the guest’s request Mrs Zohrabyan presented the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) viewpoint on the latest inner-political developments. The member of the PAP political board considered important to remind that the Party Congress convened after the March 1 events adopted a statement, which had recorded about the necessity to change the inner-political culture. Quoting the statement, Mrs Zohrabyan mentioned that their Congress had already recorded after the March 1-2 events that mutual intolerance and animosity could not promote advancing reforms in the country, and only civil solidarity and tolerance, culture of listening to each other’s viewpoints could promote the implementation of the democratic reforms, which had been launched in the country. Thus, according to the faction representative’s assessment, the PAP had permanently stood for the culture of discussing all the issues existing on country’s political agenda and finding out joint solutions even between the most radical oppositions. As to the PAP political board member, according to the PAP’s assessment, there are and cannot be no such reasonable problems on Armenia’s internal and external political agenda, which are impossible to consider even with the most radical oppositions.
At Mr Owen’s appeal, Naira Zohrabyan presented the PAP viewpoint over Armenia’s economic policy, as well as the issues of European integration.
