NA Medal of Honour to the National Philanthropist Albert Boyajian, Member of the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund’s Board of Trustees
1 / 5

The national philanthropist Albert Boyajian was awarded the NA Medal of Honour for his benevolent and pro-Armenian long-lasting energetic activity by the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan’ s order.

On June 7 the solemn awarding ceremony was held in the RA National Assembly. Handing over the NA highest award to the philanthropist, the Speaker of the Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan stated:

“Dear Mr. Boyajian,

I welcome you in the premises of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. We are very glad to host a man, who has his undeniable contribution to the Armenian independent statehood, reinforcement of the Homeland-Diaspora ties and social-economic development of Armenia and Artsakh.

You are the organizer and participant of numerous pro-Armenian initiatives, and you have permanently supported the fulfillment of all-national ideas both in the Republics of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh and also in the United States of America.

We highly appreciate your participation in the pro-national activities and maintenance of the Armenian identity implemented by “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund.

Noting that the 20th anniversary of the third Republic of Armenia is going to be celebrated this year, the NA Speaker mentioned that we were more strongly obliged to keep solidarity due to the Declaration of Independence, as the main safeguard for state independence endurance was people’s unity. No matter where the people’s sections are settled: in Armenia, in the USA, in France or in Syria, as the independent Homeland uniting and at the same time encouraging them is in place.    You are one of our people’s sons, who constantly keeps in mind the interest of the Homeland, never forgets his roots, at the same time remaining the law-abiding and full-fledged citizen of the country, where he lives and works, by bridging the international ties. Your personal role is of great significance in providing the current Armenian-American high leveled relations,” addressing the philanthropist, Hovik Abrahamyan said. “Dear Mr Boyajian, rendering your services to the Homeland, you have never expected any compensation, realizing that irrespective of the place of your residence, the support to the Homeland and promotion of its strengthening is the dictate of each Armenian’s heart”.

Thanking Albert Boyajian personally and in the name of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for his pro-Armenian and patriotic activity and congratulating on receiving the Medal of Honour of the RA National Assembly, the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan expressed hope that the RA NA highest award would occupy its unique place in the series of the high awards received by the philanthropist from the authorities of Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh and the United States of America.

Expressing his gratitude for the high honour and award, Albert Boyajian expressed willingness from now on to continue taking part in the programmes aimed at strengthening of the Homeland and the Armenian people.
