Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival being held under the patronage of the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, this year is dedicated to the 125^th birth anniversary of the Armenian well-known poet Vahan Terian, began on September 10. From October 1 the 2^nd phase of the festival began on October 1 in Gegharkunik Marz. The Jury of the festival, the honourable Chairman of which is the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, and the chairman is the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Artak Davtyan, has been in Gegharkunik and has chosen the best reciters, who will take part in the 3^rd phase on December 3 in Yerevan.

The next contest of the marz stage of the festival was held in Lori Marz. In the event, which took place in Vanadzor, the Governor of Lori Marz Aram Kocharyan highlighted the festival being held under the patronage of the NA President Hovik Abrahamyan and noted that 49 students from 500 participant-reciters passed to the 2^nd phase.

The Assistant to the Head of the parliament Sergey Lokyan presented the message of RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan to the festival participants. The deputy Tachat Vardapetyan gave his speech quoting from Terian’s poem.

The Jury of the festival listened to the participants, chose the best, who would take part in the 3^rd phase to be held in Yerevan. The diplomas and presents were handed to the reciters.

The marz phase of the Children-Youth Republican Recitation Contest-Festival was also hosted in Vayots Dzor marz. The Governor of the Marz Sergey Bagratyan addressed a word of gratitude to NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, and the festival organizers. Listening to the recitation of the works of the Armenian well-known poet, the Jury of the Republican Contest-festival made a decision to give opportunity to take part in the 3^rd phase six reciters from two age groups. The participants received books and valuable presents from the governor of Marz.
