On October 1 the sittings of RA NA standing committees were held.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs in its sitting, which presided over the Committee Deputy Chairman Artyush Shahbazyan, in the first reading debated the legislative package presented by the government on Making Addenda and Amendment on the Payment of the Civil Servicemen and Making Amendments to RA Law on Civil Service.

The debated issue with endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA autumn session and October 4-7 four-day sittings.

The legislative package presented by NA deputies Ara Nranyan, Vardan Bostanjyan, Ruzanna Arakelyan, Goharik Yenokyan and Samvel Nikoyan on Making Amendments and Addenda in RA Criminal Code and Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements was debated in the second reading, which would be included with endorsement in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.

Debates of the 2 bills were delayed up to 60 days.

At the next sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations nine agreements and conventions were debated presided over Armen Rustamyan, which were endorsed. They will be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.

The debate of the three issues included in the agenda was decided at the sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment.

The Committee Chairman Khachik Harutyunyan said that the package of the amendments on Veterinary and to a number of other laws would be delayed up to 60 days.

The package of the bills proposing amendments and addenda to RA law on Licensing and to a number of laws connected with it presided over Vardan Ayvazyan at the sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs was debated, which presented the RA Deputy Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan.

The Committee also debated the package of the bills on Making Addenda in RA Customs Code and on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements and on Making Addendum in RA Criminal Code.

RA Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan presented the package of the bills proposing amendments to the laws on Excise Tax, Fixed Payments for Cigarette Product and in a number of laws.

The Committee also debated the bill on Making Addenda and Amendments in RA Land Code.

The Committee endorsed all the debated bills for including them on October 4-7 sittings agenda.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood in it sitting, which presided over the Committee Deputy Chairman Mkrtich Iminasyan, debated and approved legislative initiative on Amending the Law on Transplanting Organs and (or) Tissues to a Man presented by the Government.

The draft law was proposed by the head committee’s endorsement to include in the agendas of the NA upcoming four-day sittings and session.
