On October 3, Vice President of the National Assembly Mrs. Arevik Petrosyan met Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of Belgium Mrs. Mia De Schamphelaere, who was in the National Assembly for taking part at the 14^th International Conference on “International Experience of Interaction of Constitutional Courts and Parliaments in Guaranteeing the Supremacy of the Constitution.”

At the meeting issues regarding Armenia-Belgium inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the development of political, economic, cultural ties were discussed. Two high ranking ladies highlighted the rise of the women’s role in the political life and their active participation in different spheres of the public life.
