At December 9 extraordinary sitting, the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated in the second reading the draft law on Making Amendments to the Law on Non-Commercial State Organizations.

The RA Deputy Minister of Environment Gayane Gabrielyan informed that today, after being adopted in the first reading, the draft was not amended. With the adoption of the draft, it is expected that the proposed amendments will give the persons who have work experience in public service or in professional work opportunity to participate in the election of the executive bodies.

With the next amendment, the property attached to the state non-commercial organizations with the right of free use will be leased not by the decision of the Government, but in accordance with the order approved by the decision of the Government.

The draft will be debated on December 10 with a positive conclusion.
