On September 22, the RA NA deputy Rustam Bakoyan met with the President of the Christian World Association Alexei Cherkezov and the Chairman of the Charitable Foundation for Orphans Helping Hands Papin Aproyan.

The abovementioned organizations show humanitarian and educational support to the Christian communities suffered because of mainly war and terrorism.

Welcoming the guests, Rustam Bakoyan highlighted such meetings promoting the development of the Armenian-Russian cooperation in different spheres.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the opportunity of bilateral cooperation and emphasized the exchange of experience in the spheres of bilateral interest.

During the meeting the events taking place in the Near East also were touched upon.

The guests invited Rustam Bakoyan to take part in the International Forum ‘Religion and Peace’ to be held in Moscow in the near future.
