On April 29, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary sitting, debating in the second reading and completely the agenda items.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented for debate in the second reading the revised draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Law on the RA State Budget for 2020.

Atom Janjughazyan answered to the MPs’ questions, including the Head of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan.

Artak Manukyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.

On behalf of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Mane Tandilyan delivered a speech and presented the concerns of the Faction over the draft law.

Mikayel Melkumyan presented the viewpoint of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia and noted that the Faction would vote for the document.

Babken Tunyan presented the positive position of the RA NA My Step Faction and touched upon the planned events of the government aimed at the mitigation of the coronavirus consequences.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Vahe Enfijyan gave a speech and urged the Government to pursue distinct policy for easing the citizens’ social hard situation.

In his final speech the Minister of Finance referred to the MPs’ observations and gave distinct clarifications.

According to the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan, the parliament debated in the second reading the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Legal Regime of the State of Emergency and on Making Addendum to the Law on Normative Legal Acts.

The RA NA Bright Armenia and the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Factions presented recommendations on the draft laws in written form.

Suren Grigoryan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee in his speech.

Edmon Marukyan presented the viewpoint of the RA NA Bright Armenia and noted that the Faction would vote against it.

Gevorg Petrosyan delivered a speech on behalf of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction.

Vladimmir Vardanyan presented the positive opinion of the RA NA My Step Faction.

In his final speech the RA First Deputy of Justice Rafik Grigoryan answered to the voiced interpellations.

The package of bills on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Labor Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Offences authored by the government was debated for completely passing it in the second reading.

The key speaker, the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arman Udumyan noted that My Step and Prosperous Armenia factions of the parliament presented recommendations of editorial character.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs Heriknaz Tigranyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The MPs by voting completely passed in the second reading the legislative packages on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Legal Regime of the State of Emergency and on Making Addendum to the Law on Normative Legal Acts, as well as on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Labor Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Offences. The National Assembly passed the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Law on the RA State Budget for 2020.
