On June 6, the Standing Committees of the RA National Assembly convened sittings.

On June 6, at the sitting moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security debated the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service.

The Deputy Minister of Defense Makar Ghambaryan noted the importance of the adoption of the draft law.

The MPs endorsed the draft law to be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the session and the regular sittings.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights moderated by Gevorg Kostanyan in the first reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code which presented the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan proposed the Committee to endorse it and Gevorg Kostanyan expressed his conviction on the draft law.

The Committee endorsed the item and made a decision to propose the NA Council to include it in the draft law of the agenda of the upcoming regular sittings.

The draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Law on Notary presented by Artur Hovhannisyan was debated in the second reading.

The legislative packages on a series of draft laws and codes were also debated in the second reading and enjoyed the endorsement of the Committee.

On the same day the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Vardan Bostanjyan.

The RA Minister of Science and Education Arayik Harutyunyan presented for debate of the Committee in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on General Education, presented by the MP Ruzanna Muradyan.

The draft law was endorsed by the Committee.

The Committee also debated the report on the Activity of the National Commission on Television and Radio.
