Armen Ashotyan: NK Conflict Has Not Been, is Not and Cannot be of Religious Character

On February 23, the Analytical Council moderated by Armen Ashotyan in the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations discussed issues on the agenda Armenia-Islamic World .

The NA deputies, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of Artsakh Republic Arzik Mkhitaryan, experts of the sphere and representatives of the state departments took part in the discussion.

The experts of the RA NAS Academician Ruben Safrastyan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant Professor Gohar Iskandaryan, as well as Professor David Hovhannisyan gave key speeches relating to the relations of Armenia with Turkey, Iran and Arab countries, as well as global realities.

During the sitting the cooperation with the Islamic countries was highlighted and the consistent development of the further relations through parliamentary diplomacy was underlined. The fact that the NK conflict has not been, is not and cannot be of religious character has been stressed.
