On February 26 the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, the Deputy Chairman Alexander Arzumanyan and the members of the Committee Nikol Pashinyan and Razmik Zohrabyan met with the newly appointed RA Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Tumanyan.
The interlocutors discussed issues concerning the Armenian-Iranian relations. Artashes Tumanyan talked about the programmes directed to the development of the cooperation between the two countries through the RA Embassy to Iran.
Artak Zakaryan wished success the newly appointed Ambassador in his responsible mission and noted that the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations is ready to support in his all initiatives, especially in terms of developing the parliamentary relations and strengthening the inter-parliamentary ties.
At the meeting issues relating to the parliamentary cooperation, humanitarian and cultural spheres and regional problems were also discussed.
