On May 3 the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan met with the Ambassador on Special Commitments of the European Eastern Partnership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Petr Mareŝ and the Charges d’Affaires of the Czech Republic to the RA Petr Mikiska.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed issues concerning the next summit of the Eastern Partnership to be held in Vilnius in autumn. Naira Zohrabyan expressed hope that during the summit the Association Agreement will be pre-signed with Armenia, which would be the most serious stimulus in order to turn into real phase of application.
Naira Zohrabyan has also noted that it is very important that after Vilnius the phase of the fulfillment of the already announced declarations begin, which means that in the atmosphere of real plurality of the different parliamentary forces represented in the NA real reforms will be possible to make.
