At the Sittings of the RA NA Standing Committees

On June 6 the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan debated and endorsed a group of bills, which would be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA spring and upcoming four-day sittings.

The RA Deputy Head of Police adjunct to the RA Government Artur Osikyan submitted for debate in the first reading the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Refugees and Asylum.”

By the presentation of the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan the Committee in the first reading debated the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Civil Status Acts.” The Committee also endorsed the package debated in the second reading “On Amending the RA Law on Bankruptcy” and “On Amending the RA Law on Public Bargains” and “On Amending the RA Law on the Service Ensuring the Compulsory Execution of the Judicial Acts.”

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan the bill “On Amending the RA Law On Approving the Statute of the Internal Service of the RA Armed Forces,” which presented the RA Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan. The Committee endorsed the bill for including it in the draft laws of the agendas of the session and the four-day sittings.

By the authors’ proposal the Committee postponed for one year the debate of the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.”

On the same day the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Artak Zakaryan debated 4 agreements, a convention and a protocol presented by the RA Deputy Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan, the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan, the RA Minister of Healthcare Sergey Khachatryan, the Deputy Director of the National Security Service adjunct to the RA Government Arzuman Harutyunyan, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the RA Government Felix Bashoyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Artur Arakelyan.

The debated agreements will be endorsed for the consideration and ratification by the parliament.

The Committee made a decision to organize parliamentary hearings jointly with the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations on the theme “Promoting the Process of International Recognition and Condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and the Scheduled Works Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide and the Parliamentary Participation Opportunities.“ in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, on June 13, at 10 a.m..

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Gagik Minasyan a financial treaty and a credit agreement submitted by the RA Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Artur Arakelyan were debated.

Both of them were endorsed for including in the agenda of the four-day sittings.
