On March 5 at the invitation of the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan the delegation led by Norbert Lammert, President of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) will arrive in the Republic of Armenia on three-day official visit.

During the visit the President of the Bundestag will have meetings with the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

The President of the Bundestag and the delegation led by him will also have meetings with the NA Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and on European Integration, and the members of Armenia-Germany Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Norbert Lammert will give a lecture in the European Studies Centre of Yerevan State University.

The Head of the FRG Bundestag and the members of the delegation will visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and lay a wreath at the Genocide victims’ monument.
