On November 24 Artak Davtyan, Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, met a group of Armenian graduates of the programme “International Parliamentary Scholarship” of the FRG Bundestag.
As Mr. Davtyan has noted in his speech, the goal of the meeting is the purposeful and effective use of the graduates’ knowledge and opportunities.
Mr. Davtyan presented the graduates the ways imposed by law for getting work in the RA NA and the field of possible cooperation. According to him, the graduates, the scholarship holders of the “International Parliamentary Scholarship” of the German Bundestag can assist the deepening and rapprochement of the Armenian-German inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the exchange of experience.
During the warm and direct talk a number of themes within the youngsters’ interest have been considered, there have been various proposals from both sides.
In particular, the Committee Chairman proposed the graduates to take part in the debates to be held in the parliament and in the committee led by him, in the discussions envisaged next year in the newly opened “Lepsius Centre” of Germany, to make recommendations on themes of public importance.
Mr. Davtyan expressed willingness to make the meetings with the graduates of continuous nature and assist in the implementation of interesting programmes.
