On April 6, the Head of the RA NA With Honor Faction Hayk Mamujanyan and the member of the Faction Taguhi Tovmasyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to the Republic of Armenia Lukas Rosenkranz.

Welcoming the Ambassador, Hayk Mamijanyan highlighted the deepening of the Armenian-Swiss inter-parliamentary relations and the cooperation on the international platforms.

The Head of the Faction touched upon the situation in Artsakh, the humanitarian and security problems created because of the Lachin Corridor blocking. It was noted that the Azerbaijani provocations prove that Artsakh can never be part of Azerbaijan.

In resolving the crisis situation in Nagorno Karabakh the Armenian parliamentarians emphasized the role of the international colleagues.

Speaking about the Artsakh Armenians’ security problems, the Head of the Faction expressed conviction that security guarantee can be exclusively the solution of the status problem, the exercise of the right to self-determination of the Artsakh people.

The representatives of With Honor Faction also touched upon the inner-political problems of Armenia.

Thanking the members of the Faction, the Ambassador attached importance to similar meetings with the opposition colleagues, during which there is an opportunity to get informed about their viewpoints on the inner-political and regional situation.

At the meeting a reference was made to the issues regarding the bilateral, as well as multi-lateral cooperation.
