The Government proposes with the initiative to remove the Radioisotope Production Center CJSC from the list of the companies with state share being proposed for privatization in 2017-2020, privatization organizations. The RA Deputy Minister of Health Armen Nazaryan said about this at January 12 sitting of the Standing Committee on Health Care, presenting the amendment proposed by the executive body to the law on 2017-2020 Programme of the State Property Privatization.
According to the rapporteur, the Center operates from June 2020, at present makes positron-emission and computer tomographic researches, as well as radioisotope production. Taking into consideration that the Center is the only organization making such researches, also has 4 government loans: it is proposed to remove it from the privatization list for further development and in future unite with V. A. Fanarjian National Center of Oncology CJSC.
The representative of the Government answered the MPs’ questions.
The deputy Arsen Torosyan considered the decision on removing the Center from the privatization organizations right, even delayed.
The Committee Chair Narek Zeynalyan also highlighted the initiative, underlining that the Radioisotope Production Center is an organization rendering unique services.
The initiative was endorsed.
