In the treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia the Anti-Corruption Committee can have a deposit account. The order of the financial means management of the deposit account is set out by the Chairman of the RA Anti-Corruption Committee. It is proposed also to increase among the cases of terminating the authorities of the Deputy Chairmen of the Anti-Corruption Committee the case of submitting to the Prime Minister the application in written form of being dismissed from office by the latter. The draft proposes also to regulate the relations related with the end of the activities of the Competitive Commission of the First Staff Members.

According to the key rapporteur, the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan, the draft is aimed at the improvement of the functional functions of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

The revised version of the bill on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Anti-Corruption Committee.

The Committee also debated in the second reading the draft law on Making Addendum to the law on Structure and Activity of the Government, by which the authority of working out and implementing the policy of the Government in the spheres is reserved to the ministries, which also implies the monitoring and assessment of the policy implementation, and its results are necessary for raising the current problems and the policy improvement.

The Ministry with the authority of elaborating and implementing the policy of the Government in the anti-corruption sphere is the RA Ministry of Justice, but as it is not recorded by the document, within the framework of the evaluation of the international obligations of the Republic of Armenia, particularly, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), is recorded a problem.

Thus, necessity emerged to distinctly fix such authorities for excluding the misperceptions and implementing the mentioned functions to ensure the availability of the distinct legal basis.

The draft law was endorsed.

By the proposal of the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan the debate of the package of the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on Whistleblowing System was postponed up two months.

The drafts were debated at October 18 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
