National Assembly Continues Work of Regular Sittings

On September 13, the National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings. At the proposal of the NA President Alen Simonyan the deputies observed a minute of silence standing to honour the memory of our compatriots fallen because of the Azerbaijani provocation today, after midnight. Alen Simonyan informed that conditioned by created situation, the voting of the drafts debated on the previous day, as well as the debate of the agenda items are postponed.

Touching upon the situation, the NA President Alen Simonyan, particularly, said: “In the created situation we should be maximum united, both our people and our political forces should be united, in this situation we cannot give room to political and other disagreements. I would like also to address our fellow citizens not to panic. We are in a very hard situation, and I ask you not to give rise to disinformation and different disseminating news and follow only the official information. According to the law the NA Rules of Procedure, I will present a draft statement. At 11:00, the Prime Minister will come here, and you can address questions to him.”
