At June 7 sitting of the RA NA RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport, moderated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan the packages of the draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Licensing and on Cinematography and the enclosed presented ones were debated and endorsed in the second reading.
The RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has noted on the package of the draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Licensing and the enclosed ones that the amendments introduced during the period from the first to the second reading relate to the legal technique: changes in content had not been.
Anna Kostanyan introduced the revised version of the of the package of the draft laws on Cinematography and the enclosed presented ones authored by the deputies Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Anna Kostanyan, Artur Manukyan, Arman Yeghoyan, noting that during the period to the second reading debates of multi content were held and certain mutual agreement were reached with the representatives of the sphere. She considered as innovation film-commissioner idea and its definition in the draft law, highlighted the increase of the provisions on remuneration being made to the creative group members and transferring of the film itinerary rights.
The RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Khzmalyan especially highlighted the provisions of the copyright definition.
The revised legislative initiative was endorsed.
Anna Kostanyan thanked the Committee Chair and the members for the mutual agreement formed around the debate of the draft law, irrespective of political realities and views.
Summing up the works of the NA seventh convocation, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan thanked the Committee members, the colleagues of the Government for the two-and-half year activities and displayed solidarity. According to him, several dozens of the most important draft laws were passed, and during the works of the seventh convocation parliament the MPs’ law making activities in its volume had hit record.
