On November 17, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings.
Before beginning the legislative work the deputies welcomed the students and the lecturers of the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University (YSU), who had visited the parliament within the RA NA Open Doors programme.
The parliament in the first reading continued debating the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code authored by Karen Avagyan and Hrayr Tovmasyan.
The RA NS Deputy Speaker Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights.
The RA NA deputies Gevorg Petrosyan, Naira Zohrabyan, Artak Zeynalyan, Rustam Makhmudyan had exchange of thoughts.
The RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan gave an extraordinary speech. Talking about the logic of the draft law he expressed hesitation relating to some voiced viewpoints, when the doctor’s hard job was compared with other professions.
The Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) adjunct to the RA Government Vakhtang Mirumyan presented for debate in the first reading the legislative package on Making Addendum to the RA law on Tax Service and on Making Addendum to the RA law on Customs Service.
The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Khosrov Harutyunyan presented the endorsement of the Committee.
The RA NA deputies Vardan Bostanjyan, Vahe Enfiajyan, Gevorg Petrosyan, Mikayel Melkumyan and Naira Zohrabyan expressed their viewpoints on the problems of the sphere.
The parliament also debated the draft law on ratifying the letter-agreement which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Gagik Grigoryan.
Samvel Nikoyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
The MPs Sergey Bagratyan, Tigran Urikhanyan, Vahe Enfiajyan and Aram Sargsyan expressed their viewpoints and concerns on the expediency of the road under construction, its quality, the efficiency of the credit means use.
As a result of the voting, the parliament passed the legislative initiatives debated on the previous day and today.
