By Mrs Naghdalyan’s assessment, after Armenia’s decision on participating actively in the Eurasian processes, the economic component in the relationship of the two countries is more and more highlighted. A decision was made to create a working group on improvement of the legislation of this and general economic fields, which will come up with recommendations at the next sitting. The second item of the sitting was for information and referred to the analysis of the works done by South Caucasus Railway CJSC.

Hermine Naghdalyan said that the item on the development perspectives of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union will be included in the agenda of the next sitting to be held in Yerevan in autumn. She has noticed that at the sittings of the Inter-Parliamentary Committees the social-economic component has been more and more spotlighted in recent years, the cooperation necessity in the sphere has become a key issue.

The Armenian deputies of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee recorded with satisfaction that the Committee works gradually become more focused, and the items under debate at the sittings require concrete solutions on the matter.
