Open Lesson in the Parliament

On December 4 within the framework of the “Open Doors” programme the teachers and pupils of the secondary school of Haytagh community of Armavir Marz visited the National Assembly. First, they attended the NA plenary sitting and followed its work, then they met with the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan.

Welcoming the guests’ visit to the legislative body, Artak Davtyan introduced them the NA structure, functions and authorities of the standing committees, touched upon the deputies’ election order. The Committee Chairman urged the pupils to effectively use the educational years and get knowledge.

The Committee Chairman answered the pupils’ questions, which mainly related to the reasons and perspectives of the senior school investment, the overloading of the classes, the demands of the labour market and the applicants’ professional focus.
