They Wanted Better, But It Turned Out As Always, The NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov’s Response to the Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament
1 / 1

In response to the announcement made today by Bahar Muradova, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan, according to which, France should be replaced by Turkey in the OSCE IPU Co-Chair countries composition, “It’s absolutely logical,”the NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov said:

“Azerbaijan with the stubbornness of the well-known animal once again puts itself in a funny situation. It is enough only to read the trilateral announcement of Sochi made on January 23 (also signed by Aliyev), which prompts that the problem has exclusively a peaceful solution, and the co-chair countries Russia, the USA and France, in that status will later also play an active role in its settlement till the establishment of final peace and stability in the region.

Once again Azerbaijan appeared in an awkward situation. As they say, they wanted better, but it turned out as always,” Sharmazanov concluded.
