On November 15, the opening ceremony of the first skate park in the city was held, and the Head of the NA Armenia-Ukraine Friendship Group Hrachya Hakobyan, the members of the Group, the representatives of the executive body, the guests from parliament of Ukraine, the Yerevanites took part in the opening ceremony.

The works for the complex improvement of “Circle” Park and the creation of the theme parks were carried out with the financial resources from the budget of Yerevan community and with the financial support of the friends of the City. The Union of Ukrainian Armenians (UUA) has financed the construction of the skate park, and the initiator is the Chair of the UUA Vilen Shatvoryan. The park was built in accordance with international standards, with high quality materials.

The Head of the NA Armenia-Ukraine Friendship Group Hrachya Hakobyan considered the creation of such park promoting healthy and active lifestyle of the youth necessary. The Head of the Group on Inter-Parliamentary Relations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the RA Artem Dmytruk is sure that the skate park is a unique gift to the Yerevanites. The Chair of the UUA Vilen Shatvoryan attaches importance to such initiatives, adding that the park is for those who are fans of both entertainment and sport.

The RA NA President Alen Simonyan participated in the opening ceremony too. During the talk with the journalists, the RA NA President highlighted the construction of such entertainment place with the support of our compatriots living in Ukraine.
