Debate of RA Draft Law on RA State Budget for 2018 Begins at Sitting of RA National Assembly

On November 15, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings, by voting passing the bills debated on the previous day.

The parliament continued the debate of the draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Social Support of the Borderline Communities, on which the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan presented the endorsement.

Afterwards the Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan presented for debate the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018.

The Chairman of the RA Central Bank Artur Javadyan presented the endorsement of the RA Central Bank on the RA State Budget for 2018.

The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan presented the main indices of the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018.

Mr Minasyan presented the endorsement of the Committee and proposed the parliament to make relevant decision.

The RA NA deputies addressed their questions to Gagik Minasyan and Vardan Aramyan.

The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Koryun Nahapetyan presented the endorsement on the substantiation of the expenditures containing state and office secret of the state budget of the coming year.

Summing up his speech, Koryun Nahapetyan has underlined that the draft law of the state budget for 2018 reflects the priorities of the defense sphere.

The debate of the issue will continue at November 16 sitting.

Afterwards the parliament debated the answer of the interpellation of the RA NA Way Out faction, which presented the RA Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of the International Economic Integration and reforms Vache Gabrielyan.

He touched upon the interpellation concerning Yerevan Zvartnots and Gyumri Shirak, as well as Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airports and in detail answered the questions relating to the issues under debate.

Mr Gabrielyan answered the questions concerning the RA NA deputies Nikol Pashhinyan, Naira Zohrabyan, Aram Sargsyan and Artak Zeynalyan.

Considering the issue under debate urgent the RA NA Deputy Speaker Mikayel Melkumyan delivered an extraordinary speech.

In his final speech Vache Gabrielyan referred to the issues voiced during the debate.

Nikol Pashinyan has summed up and noted that having a national avia transport provider should be a problem of state level, as it is also a national attribute.

At the last sitting, according to the RA Constitutional Law the NA Rules of Procedure, the members of the RA Government answered the deputies’ questions.
