On May 26, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan at the consultation on work procedure debated the grouping of the spheres reserved to the activities of the Committee in accordance with the economic commonality.

Khosrov Harutyunyan presented to his colleagues the problems, to the solution of which the upcoming activities of the Committee will be directed. He highlighted the cooperation with Committee members on all issues, as well as the creation of the working-partnership atmosphere, which will give an opportunity to solve the problems with joint efforts.

“Complicated and hard legislative activity is expected for us,” Khosrov Harutyunyan noted and added that we also shall support the solution of the accumulated problems, which will promote the enhancement of the role of the Standing Committee.

The inter-parliamentary relations with the regional countries were also spotlighted, including the cooperation with relevant structures of Turkey’s parliament, as well as the EEU and the European Union countries, especially the parliament of Germany.

“The study and investment of the German legislative experience will promote the solution of a number of issues,” Khosrov Harutyunyan noted.

The Chair of the Standing Committee highlighted the holding of visiting sittings, which gives an opportunity to better study the problems accumulated in the marzes. The development of the cooperation with the executive power was also emphasized for solving the problems facing our country.

During the exchange of thoughts, the Committee members touched upon the problems of cooperation with the NGOs and business community, the requirement of the Standing Committee staff with experienced and professional specialists and other professional issues.

In their viewpoints the deputies agreed with Khosrov Harutyunyan’s proposals.

The Committee Chair urged his colleagues to submit recommendations on the debated issues.
