On September 23 the members of the Youth Parliament adjunct to the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport met with the Delegation led by the Deputy Speaker of Mejlis of Turkmenistan Ms Gurbanguly Bayramova. The MPs of the Youth Parliament presented the history of the creation of the Youth Parliament, its passed path and achievements.

The member of the Youth Parliament Gohar Mkoyan introduced the structure of the parliament, its staff and the mechanisms of the formation of the Standing Committees.

Hayk Mamijanyan talked about the bills, the legislative packages being submitted in the Youth Parliament and the works being done on them.

At the request of the MPs of the Youth Parliament Gurbanguly Bayramova touched upon the activities of the youth organizations in Turkmenistan, the legislation concerning the youth and educational system. Ms Bayramova has noted that in Turkmenistan the legislative field gives an opportunity to create youth parliament, and they thoroughly study the experience of different countries for applying it in their country.

During the sincere talk the participants of the meeting answered the questions of bilateral interest and discussed the perspectives of possible cooperation.
